More Comments Please!!!

Hello everyone. Now, I don't want to seem picky or demanding or anything like that, but I would really love some more comments on my posts. It is so fun to hear your thoughts and know that people are actually reading this thing. Plus, I have made it really easy;  you don't even need a goggle account to leave a comment. Mothers Day 2008

My Mother's Day present was having my mom and sister come for the weekend to spend time with my family. It was a surprise that my sister and I planned together, for my mom. We called her the friday before and told her to pack a weekend bag because she was coming to Portland, to see our house for the first time. She was ecstatic! While they were here, we went to the Portland Saturday Market and bought her gifts, Carlos made us a fantastic dinner, and otherwise just hung out. It was all that my sis and I hoped and more!!!

Besides celebrating my 27th birthday with Carlos and the kids, Meagan threw a BBQ for me at her new house. We had a fun night, sitting around their fire pit, catching up and laughing together. Carlos keep the kids occupied so I could hang out with my buds. I was delighted to see Joe Kinerk. Hey Joey... Courtland came from Seattle and I also got to meet a couple of Meg and Jason's friends. We stayed up late and reminisced over our many unforgettable memories. I even got to see Pashana!

The next morning Carlos, the kids, and I went to see my mom and sister at their new place. They saw Matthew and Natalya for the first time. This "reunion" made my 27th birthday the best ever!!

It's Been A While

My family and I have had an exciting month and, unfortunately, I have gotten behind on my blog. The frenzied month started with my 27th birthday  April 26th. It was undoubtedly the best birthday I have ever had. Thank you to everyone who helped make it that way, and you know who you are. The beginning of May was occupied by the redesign of our living and dining rooms. Then came Mother's Day and immediately following a 10-day vacation, during which we traveled to Scottsdale, AZ, San Felipe, Mexico, San Diego, CA and back to Scottsdale. While on vaca, we also celebrated Matthew's 4th birthday. We just returned, very nicely tanned I might add, yesterday. So needless to say, I have a lot of catching up to do. Since I want to blog about all of the excitement that's passed, I decided the logical thing would  be to go in chronological order. Tonight, my goal is to download and organize the 438 pictures that I took. Tomorrow I will start the posts...
